  1. Learn about what to consider when making a new character; their background, traits and motivations. What is a Character? A character is controlled by the player who makes their choices (their actions and dialogue), interacting with the environment and other players in the form of a story. Characters are normally fictional and original, which means they're completely made up. Building a roleplay character can be a fun and creative experience. Here are some things to consider when making a new character, from their background and traits to their motivations. The Name: This is the first impression of your character and what people will call you. Pick a name that fits the character and is not too famous or silly. TIP: Consider the cultural background, origin, and age of your character. Avoid using silly names like Bob Down or Donald Trump, as it's frowned upon. Consider a name that's unique and easy to remember! The Appearance: The way your character looks can influence the way people perceive and interact with them. This includes hair, clothes, accessories, and anything else that helps define your character's look. Think about their style, body type, and any distinguishing features that make them unique. TIP: Consider the type of roleplay you'll be focusing on when choosing your appearance, do you want to overly exaggerate specific facial features or clothing? Consider their background and personality. The Background: The more you know about your character's backstory, the more solid the character will be to others. Knowing your character's background will give you a deeper understanding of who they are. TIP: Consider their upbringing, family situation, social status, and age. What type of childhoof did they have? Are they wealthy, poor or middle-class? What events and experiences have shaped their life. The Personality: Your character's personality is what makes them unique and makes them stand out. TIP: Determine their zodiac sign to help you determine their behavior, or consider their personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses. For example, is your character confident, brave, or talkative? The Voice: Your character's voice can play a massive part in how others perceive you. What voice will you give your character? TIP: What location and accent will they have? Do they speak confidently, or are they shy? The Motivations: What drives your character? Why do they do what they do? Consider their goals, desires, and what makes them tick. TIP: You don't need to be the best at everything. Having a memorable character is much more important than winning everything. No one is perfect. Have some weaknesses. Remember, the more well-rounded and believable your character is, the more enjoyable the roleplay experience will be. So take your time and have fun creating!

  8. Your Say Results: Pre-Server Survey + Location Good morning all, Thank you to all who responded to our surveys and gave us your thoughts, in total we received 40 responses across both. We read each and every response, and greatly appreciate it! The survey questions were designed to see if what we did previously was good, and what you enjoy out of roleplay. What our key takeaways from the first survey (21 responses) was: 20 of you have played before, and more than half of you found us through a friend. 80% of you prefer an economy server, but hate the grind of money. The most important thing is actual players, followed by customisation. You really love cars. You also really love police roleplay. You would also like to see a skill/experience system, and community events. Half of you like PvP and the other half like PvE, while some aren't interested in combat. You like trading with other players to get items, but also like farming and sourcing items. Crafting isn't interesting. You like being a lone wolf but also a team player when it counts. 43% of you prefer Government factions, 38% legal factions, and 19% of you are naughty. 86% are interested in running a business, most of them car shops or mechanics. Over 50% of you would be on a few times a week, for a few hours. Half of you said you would donate once and monthly and support the community. ❤️ In return, you'd like a fancy title, unique cars, and in-game financial benefits. On average, you spend $75.80 a month on games, and would donate around $56 of that to us. Very generous of you <3. 33.3% of you admitted to cheating on us with other servers because they have more players and cars. You also play other simulation games outside of FiveM. You miss us. We miss you too. Our key takeaways from the second survey (19 responses) was: Realistic Serious Roleplay is important to you, but you still like to have some fun. Most of you picked your home country. Can't you just go outside? You want to roleplay in Australia because of comfort, familiarity ... and cars. You don't care what it's called, and aren't fussed if we don't go with your choice.
