These are some widely accepted phrases and words used as alternatives to out of character words, to keep immersion and in character.

Body cam running/dashcam:
- Definition: Refers to someone recording or streaming
- Example: "I'm recording this, just in case. Body cam is on baby!"

Deported
- Definition: Refers to a player being kicked or banned
- Example: "Breaking government laws will get you deported from the city."

Flex your (...):
- Definition: Refers to pushing a key on your keyboard or mouse
- Example: "Put your hands up! Flex your X muscle!"

Going to sleep
- Definition: When you or someone is logging out of the server
- Example: "I’m going to go to sleep. I will catch you tomorrow."

Going to take a nap
- Definition: Refers to having to leave the city and come back in
- Example: "My eyes are a little blurry, I'm going to take a quick nap and I will meet you back here in a little."

Government Official
- Definition: Refers to a Staff member
- Example: "Listen, a Government Official will have to help you with that problem."

Government Laws
- Definition: Refers to Server Rules
- Example: "If you are having trouble following city laws, someone will inform a government official about your behavior."

In another city/life
- Definition: Refers to another Server
- Example: "I'm another city, I was employed as a hot dog dealer."

In the city
- Definition: Refers to the Server
- Example: "Hey, I’m in the city now. Are you in town so we can meet up?"

In my head/they're in their head
- Definition: When you or someone has to do something IRL
- Example: "Hold on, I gotta go in my own head for a sec."

My eyes are blurry
- Definition: Low FPS/Texture issues/Lag

- Definition: This phrase means your character is bugged or not visible, and you should jump to try to resolve it
- Example: "You need to jump, there's a spider on your foot."

Storm
- Definition: Refers to a server restart
- Example: "Are you coming back out after the storm? If so, give me a text or a call and we can meet up."

Voice box
- Definition: Refers to your microphone
- Example: "I think their voice box isn't working at the moment, perhaps they have lost their voice."

Voices in my head
- Definition: Refers to a 3rd party application for talking
- Example: "I’ll be right back I have some voices in my head."

- Definition: Refers to your inventory
- Example: "Check your pockets, I've just given you a Popsicle and a can of soda."
